With automated side-load trucks, many routes that once required a driver and one or two helpers can now be completed by a single trained driver. This technology reduces manual lifting, decreases the risk of workplace injuries, improves route efficiency, and allows us to provide more consistent service.
As a result, our staffing needs have changed. While we will continue to hire qualified CDL drivers and maintenance professionals as our business grows, we no longer require as many collection helpers as we did in the past. Automation has allowed us to focus on creating skilled, long-term career opportunities while continuing to deliver dependable service to the communities we serve.
